I collaborated with the village of Čečejovce on many cultural events like Summer festivals, International art pleinair, Firefighters´day, Marathon and many others. My pictures were published in local newspapers, calendars and promotional material for the village.

Čečejovce is a village of rich history. According to archaeological discoveries, humans lived here since paleolithic era. There are two churches here and a classical mansion from the second half of 18th century. The mansion is under reconstruction right now and is not accessible to the public. The oldest historical site in the village is a gothic church dating back to the 13th century. Beautiful frescos were uncovered during the reconstruction. And in the year 1994 they were declared a national heritage site.

Usually, there is a Summer festival held in Čečejovce every year. Many foreign and local artists come to share their talent during these celebrations. They include such stars as Zuzana Smatanová, Kristína and Peter Cmorík.

After the COVID outbreak the only cultural event in the village has been testing of the citizens for coronavirus. Let us hope, that soon this will change and we all will be able and healthy to enjoy next Summer festival.

S obcou Čečejovce som ako fotografka spolupracovala na mnohých kultúrnych akciách, ako napr. Dni obce, Medzinárodný plenér výtvarných umelcov v Čečejovciach, Deň hasičov a iné.

Moje fotky boli uverejnené v novinách, kalendároch, letákoch a ďalších prospektoch obce.

Obec má bohatú históriu. Podľa archeologických nálezov tu človek žil už v staršej dobe kamennej.

Sú tu dva kostoly a klasicistický kaštieľ z druhej polovice 18. storočia. Ten sa v súčasnosti rekonštruuje a nie je prístupný verejnosti.

Najstaršou pamiatkou v obci je ranogotický kostol z 13. storočia. Pri rekonštrukcii sa v ňom podarilo odhaliť fresky a v r. 1994 boli vyhlásené za kultúrnu národnú pamiatku.

Za normálnych okolností sa každý rok koná Čečejovské kultúrne leto.

Vystúpení v obci sa zúčastnilo mnoho zahraničných i domácich umelcov, ktorých mnohí z vás určite poznáte. Patria medzi nich Zuzana Smatanová, Kristína i Peter Cmorík.

Po vypuknutí COVID pandémie bolo jedinou kultúrnou akciou testovanie čečejovských občanov na koronavírus. Dúfajme, že to sa čoskoro zmení a všetci budeme v zdraví spoločne oslavovať najbližšie Dni obce.
